Reed Smith wins an ‘Innovations in Pro Bono’ award for Lamp Lifeboat Ladder
Global law firm Reed Smith has been honored for its role envisioning and sponsoring Lamp Lifeboat Ladder, winning “Innovation in Pro Bono” at the 2024 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards on Jan. 29.
Legalweek said this pro bono project is so innovative because it provides survivors with end-to-end protection, from the point of flight to the point of self-reliance. It is a model for the successful resettlement of refugees who are at high risk of further injury, the publisher stated.
